Controls: Right-click and drag the canvas or use WASD to move the camera around. Scroll the mouse wheel to pan the camera in and out. Left-click to interact with buttons on the screen and place objects. You can also click the top row of number fields in the top panel and enter in your own numbers! (I had to program that by scratch, so you know I was gonna mention it.)

Not Enough Trees is an upcoming 2.5D pixel-graphic RTS where you manage the expansion of a fledgling alien colony on a planet with a fragile biosphere. Meet the needs of your colony’s citizens while keeping an eye out on the health of the atmosphere as you chop forests, mine minerals, and build factories. Keep the planet green, or at least build enough bunkers to survive the climate apocalypse.

Prototype Jam Portion: You can play an early build of the game through the browser as a WebGL project. This build shows off terrain generation and tree & bush distribution and growth over time. You can also see the build mechanics in action with a few constructible objects: place factories, farms, and camps on flat ground, and mines on rock outcrops. There's also a resource tab, but it's mainly to show what will be possible later, and it doesn't do much yet.

Concept Jam Portion: Contains a zip folder with Game Design Document and an example Task Scheduling spreadsheet for the first 4 days of development.
